Recommended Thule Passage Bike Rack to Replace Old Thule Easy Rider Rack

Question:

The rubber shock absorber bushings are worn out on my 3-bike Thule Easy Rider trunk mount rack. Is there a replacement available? Does anyone have the specifications to replace these with another type of bushing? Thank you

I reached out to my contact at Thule and they no longer carry any of the parts for that rack. There is no other bushing that I'm aware of that will be a confirmed fit. They said that rack is so old that they recommend an upgrade as they have no parts that will fit it.

If you choose to upgrade, they said the most similar rack is the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount # TH910XT. If you let me know your vehicle, I can make a recommendation that is a confirmed fit. With most trunk mounted racks like this one, I recommend the security strap # TH533 as well as a cable lock like # e98891. If you have a bike without a top frame rail, I also recommend the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005 for a level transport.
