Question:

want to put LED tail lights on Kids Rxr 170 SXS - the fake ones are about 7 X 3 - do not need a lot of light output since it will not be used much at nite and not on the road. slim would be good. you can several that look like they would work but I can not tell the difference in them tks

The item you selected, Optronics Trailer Light, part # STL22RB, is a flush mount light so it would sit flush with the surface you mount it to. You would need to use Rubber Grommet, part # a70gb, which measures 7-5/8 inches by 3-3/8 inches. Part # STL22RB should be a good option for a replacement tail light on your sons RXR 170 SXS ATV.

You will need to use Straight 3-Wire Pigtail, part # A45PB, to wire the light. If you are just wanting the tail light function, you will need to connect the White wire to a clean metal surface for a ground. Then you will tape the Red wire up as it is the turn signal wire. The Black wire is for tail lights, and will need to be connected to 12 volt power.

Another option for a tail light would be the Optronics trailer light # STL78RB, which is a flange mount light that attaches to the mounting surface using screws. Part # STL78RB measures 7-9/16 inches by 3--5/16 inches.
