Looking for a tailgate for my 2017 f250 lariat. It has the light and backup camera in regular tailgate. I think I would prefer aluminum.

The only replacement tailgate we have for your 2017 Ford F-250 is for 5th wheel and gooseneck towing applications. If you need a 5th wheel/gooseneck tailgate for your truck then the only option I have for you is the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Lock for Ford Trucks part # VG-15-4000.

This tailgate will retain your factory backup camera's mounting location but does not have the light feature you are inquiring about. The tailgate is also made of a lightweight composite plastic, not aluminum. You can however add the Louver Insert Kit for Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Tailgates part # 4000-V which are paintable to give you a more factory look. The louvered design will help to improve gas mileage.

The keyed center release mechanism works in conjunction with rotary latches and comes with two keys. This tailgate is made in the U.S.A. and comes equipped with a 2 year limited warranty.
