Hi! Just wondering if its possible to get a towbar for a mk6 golf r? It doesnt need electrics, it just needs to be able to take a bike rack and look relatively tidy. Is there an option for me?

I have a couple of solutions for you, but unfortunately the center rear exhaust prevents the installation of a typical tow hitch on the VW Golf R model.
One option is to go with a trunk mounted bike rack like the Thule Passage 2-Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # TH910XT that has the anti-sway cradles to secure your bikes. I also recommend using the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005 to create that top frame rail for level transport and ground clearance.
Another option is to add a roof rack like the Inno # INB127 with # INSUT, and # INK853 fit kit. Then add bike carriers like # Y02103 with locks # Y07202.
