Are There Propane Adapters/Lines that Prevent Gas from Leaking
Published 08/30/2017 >
Question:
I have a 2007 Cardinal 5th wheel. There are 2 propane tanks, one on each side of the rig. The 2 position regulator is on the street side. It stopped seeing the tank on the curb side. I replaced that regulator, both pigtails and the second stage regulator on the curbside. I am getting gas through that regulator but not through the hose that connects to to the street side regulator. This is my last item to replace. Do hose lines fail often? Are there check valves in the hose? I have not removed it yet to determine the exact length but I am guessing about 10 feet. Do you have a replacement hose? Thanks for your help!

Sounds like you are asking about a back check style of line/adapter. We have the part # 204120-MBS that is a propane fitting that has a back check built into it. It is a fit for 1/4 inch NPT lines and will prevent gas from leaking out of the regulator inlet.
Hoses don't generally fail often, but it is possible that they can fail. It is possible your current line has a back check built into it and it has failed.
