Can the ISSE Hybrid Snow Socks Be Used on All 4 Wheels
Updated 08/28/2017 | Published 08/25/2017 >
Question:
Can the snow socks be applied to 4-wheel drive vehicles, one on each wheel?
asked by: Pat M
Helpful Expert Reply:
Most vehicle manufacturers restrict the use of tire chains on all 4 wheels due to clearance issues. Since the ISSE Hybrid Snow Socks part # TCH58 are more or less a slip on cover, the likelihood of these socks having clearance issues are very low. However, the deciding factory when choosing a set of tire chains/socks will always be the vehicle.
If you can provide me with the year, make, and models of your vehicle I would be glad to check for specific restrictions and procedures for you. In addition to restrictions, it will be very important you obtain the correct size tire sock therefore, I would need to know the size of the tires you currently have on the vehicle in order to offer my recommendation. This can be found printed on the sidewall of the tire beginning with either a "P" for passenger or "LT" for light truck.
