Do TorkLift Battery Box Measurements Include the Lid or Just the Box

Question:
Is the width of the box measured at the top or base? The lid seems to overhang the width of the box. My trailer has a 24.25inch opening at its narrowest point. If its 26inch at the base it wont fit, but if this is the measurement of the Lid then whats the width at the base?

The TorkLift PowerArmor Locking Battery Box - 6V and 12V Batteries - Diamond Plate Aluminum Item # TLA7708R is 26-3/4" x 8-3/16" measured on the outside of the box not including the lid.
You could use something like DeeZee Specialty Series Underbody Toolbox - Steel - 4.5 Cu Ft - Black Item # DZDB-2600 as a battery box but you would need to add holes for the wiring and ventilation. It is 24" long x 18" wide x 18" tall overall. You would also need universal mounting kit # DZDB-2502. I have linked a video of this box for you.
