Question:
I mistakenly connected green wire to driver side TAIL light. Directions say connect it to passenger side. Does it make a difference? I cannot disconnect it and reconnect to other side.

I was able to pull up your order to see you have the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector C56150 which has since been discontinued. Connecting the green side of this T-connector to the drivers side tail light won't effect the stop light function on your trailer, but will reverse the turn signal functions on your trailer. So, you definitely want to disconnect the harness and reconnect it on the correct side. Until you are able to do this, your vehicle and your trailer will have opposite turn signals flashing. Your stop lights and hazards should still work properly, but your turn signals will be an issue.
If you cannot remove them for some reason, you will have to cut and splice the green and yellow wires of your 4-way and swap them. I recommend using butt connectors like # DW05744-10 and dielectric grease like # 11755. The dielectric grease helps to make the connection work better by keeping out moisture and debris.
I've attached a video to assist in the installation so you can correct the wiring.
