Maximum Operational Altitude for the Camco Olympian Wave 3 Catalytic Safety Heater
Updated 08/22/2017 | Published 08/21/2017 >
Question:
What is the highest altitude this will reliably operate before the lack of oxygen sensor interferes. I have had similar units that wouldnt work above 6000 feet and then I had a small Coleman that has worked great at almost 10,000 feet.

My contact a Camco conformed with me that the Camco Olympian Wave 3 Catalytic Safety Heater, # CAM57331 will efficiently operate up to 8,000 to 9,000 feet.
After reaching this height you will you will see that this heater will begin to not operate as well due to less O2 in the air.
