Question:

I have a 1994 Eagle trailer model # S-20-50TR that needs brake replacements. Do you have a data base with that trailer? If not, what is the best way to identify the needed replacement brakes? The brakes on the trailer are hydrolic surge brakes. The brake actuator only had a single push rod on the forward shoe. If helpful the bearings are inner 68149 and outer 44649. I think the axel is rated st 3500 lbs.

I can help you determine the correct size for replacement brakes but we don't have a database of parts for specific trailers. With bearings # L68149 and # L44649 this narrows it down a lot.

If do indeed have a 3,500 pound then you'll need 10 inch brakes like the Dacromet Assemblies # AKUBRK-35-D. These are great for boat trailers because of their resistance to corrosion. The kit includes both left and right hand side brakes that are labeled to make the install easier. Also the bolts are included. If you need nuts and lock washers use # BRKH10B.

If your axle is rated for less than 3,500 pounds you might need 8-1/2 inch brakes. In this case we have # T4442100-000 that will work for you. These include both left and right hand brakes as well as them mounting hardware.
