Recommended Transmission Cooler for a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:

I have a 2008 Dodge ram 1500 hemi pickup that has a transmission cooler with a problem. the cooler has 2 pin holes in it and I was wondering if I could cut the lines and bypass the cooler for a few weeks till I get the cooler replaced

As long as the transmission cooler you are referring to is an auxiliary cooler and you still have the transmission lines running through the radiator then yes you can bypass this cooler for a temporary fix. I would not tow a trailer while the temporary fix is in place.
