Cargo Trailer Lighting That Splices Into Existing Wiring

Question:
I have a cargo trailer with rubber flange that has a pigtail plug, but sticks to far where every thing hits it and knocks plug off. Would like to replace with this style mount and just splice wires and heat shrink. Will these lights be fine to do this.

If your current lights with a rubber flange are ineffective, the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Tail, Turn # STL178RB would be a good option as a replacement as long as the dimensions of 7-1/2" wide x 3-5/16" tall x 1-1/8" work for your trailer. The GloLight has a built-in polycarbonate flange which should offer you more stability.
