Question:
Hi. We have the full Carpod setup with lid and bag. We are looking for a new lock for the lid. Our previous one was small and long-ish which made it somewhat easier to slid through the railings and locking holes though its size was finicky when handling with cold fingers. Unfortunately after going through alot of snow and salted slush during a winter trip, the padlock has rusted and no longer works smoothly. What would you recommend that would fit easily especially when its cold and I dont want to be fiddling with freezing fingers to get it to thread through ie a tried and tested lock on the Carpod. Also something weatherproof/waterproof/salt proof if possible - tall order maybe ... Thanks.

Carpod recommends 3/8 inch diameter shackles with the 24x48-3/4 Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier # M2205-01-02. So for that # ML312KA would work well. This padlock is laminate covered so it will fight corrosion.
