Question:
I have a 1998 Chevy C3500. I need to tow my RV with a GVWR of 16,000-17,000lbs and TW of at least 1900lbs. I am looking to purchase the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2inch Item # C15325 because it appears to be the only one that will fit my vehicle and possibly tow my RV. The question I have is which WDH w/Sway control package do you have that will be a compatible fit? I liked the Blue Ox but the TW does not appear to match and the receiver size is 2.5 inch and it looks like I will need a 2 inch receiver. Thank you

For your 1998 Chevy C3500, the only compatible weight distribution system that will work in conjunction with a trailer hitch is the TorkLift SuperHitch Everest Weight Distribution System - 30,000 lbs GTW, 3,000 lbs TW # TLWD1000. This system requires the Adjustable Shank for TorkLift SuperHitch Everest Weight Distribution - 12-1/2" - 30,000 lbs # TLM9010 and hitch ball # C40085. This system does not have an integrated sway control.
This system works with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers # TLC1201 that is a confirmed fit with your truck to have a 2,000 lb tongue weight capacity when used with a weight distribution system.
