Question:
In this kit, the grease seal has an OD of 1.987 and ID of 1.50. However, I need an ID of 1.25 for my 2500 lb axle, but the one that you have listed, Part #34823 has an OD of 1.983, will they fit into the hub OK or will they be loose? I dont recon 4 thousandths would be that big of a deal but thought Id check before ordering. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The grease seal you need is the part # 34823. 4 thousandths of an inch is a tiny amount and realistically it's within the margin of error on the caliper you are using. This seal will work just fine and is the correct one for the hub you have.
Ideally though you need to measure again and verify that you just maybe were slightly off with your initial measurement.
