No Fluid Pumping Out with on Actuator with New Master Cylinder Installed

Question:
Just bought a new Atwood master cylinder and a flexible hose that connects the master cylinder to the hard line running down the trailer. I have just the new hose hooked up to the master cylinder and when I push the push rod in, I'm not getting any brake fluid to come out.... everything is brand new and installed correctly

When the actuator is pumped, you should see some fluid come out of the actuator. However, on brand new actuators or master cylinders like your Atwood product, it may simply need to be actuated a few times before it will start pumping out fluid.
If you still do not have any luck, I recommend taking apart the actuator itself to see if there are any clogs that need to be cleaned out.
