Question:
I need to upgrade from a 1 7/8inch ball to a 2inch ball. The current dimensions of the trailer coupler is 2inch tall x 2 1/2inch channel. BUT, the drilled holes need to be 2 1/2inch apart. Please advise me if you have this part. Thanks.

Your best option for a coupler that takes a 2 inch ball and that fits a 2-1/2 inch wide tongue is going to be Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler - Trigger Latch - Zinc - 2" Ball - Bolt On - 3,500 lbs # CT-3002-Z. The hole spacing is not 2-1/2 inches apart though so 1 extra set of holes will need to be drilled. The couplers that fit a 2-1/2 inch channel all have a hole spacing of approximately 3 inches on center.
