Optronics Transit Tail Light # STL90RB Works When Truck is Off, But Turns Off When Truck is On

Question:
I have a 1974 ECO bubble very similar to the boiler and camp camper camper with combo cake lights. I ordered the LED round replacement lights, the original trailer lights have three wires red, black and greed. The new lights have red, black and white. 1How should that be wired? 2 when I did wire the lights, assuming it was correct, the lights worked when the truck lights where not on. When the truck lights were turned on the camper lights stopped working. Do you have thoughts on what the problem might be? Thanks for you help

The White, Black, and Red wires on the Optronics Transit Tail Light # STL90RB will connect to the following functions:
White - Ground
Black - Tail
Red - Stop/Turn
You can test the wiring functions on your trailer by just touching the ends of the Black or Red wire with the wires that were hooked up to your previous light.
If you do not have the White wire properly grounded then that is most likely your problem. If one of your wires doesn't connect to a ground then you will want to make sure that the ring terminal on it is connected to a clean, bare-metal surface. Even just some paint can cause ground issues.
Make sure that the functions are connected correctly and that you have a secure ground. If you are still experiencing this problem after following this troubleshooting let me know and I will be more than happy to look into it further with you.
