For your Mercedes GL320 you will need to use a universal towing mirror because there are no custom fit towing mirrors available. There are many options and I have linked them for you. A mirror like # KS3891 could work. These mirrors require a lip or gap between the factory mirror housing and the glass and also work best on factory mirror housings that are more flat at the back.
The universal towing mirror type that works the best is the CIPA door mount mirror # 11650. It will mount on the door at the bottom and where the bottom of the window and door meet. If there is any molding or cladding at the bottom of the door you cannot use this type of mirror.
