What is the Minimum and Maximum Air Pressure for AirLift Air Bag Kit # AL88299

Question:

Your text says minimum air pressure is 40 PSI. Surely not! Is this right?

No, the minimum air pressure is 5 psi and the maximum is 100 psi. The 40 figure comes into play based off of the instructions which state that generally the system can support 40 pounds per 1 psi of air pressure. I have linked the installation instructions for Air Lift kit # AL88299.

When should you add air to the bags before or after you put the load on the truck?

I would wait until you have the truck loaded up for your trip or job. This way you can easily see how much air needs to be added (until the truck is level). If you try adding enough air beforehand it'll just be guesswork.
