Will the B&W Extend-A-Goose Coupler Fit a Vertical 4” Square Coupler

Question:

The down tube on my trailer is 4” square , therefore my question is will this product work for my particular situation, if not , is there an extender that can be recommend, I have a 2008 F250, 6 3/4 box and will be pulling a 30’ fifthwheel with the square neck goose with is manufactured by Vemco in Oregon

To be able to use the B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler # BWTEXA4200 you will need a round gooseneck coupler. Your square coupler will not be compatible.

You can use the Redline Gooseneck Coupler # SAC2516-I to replace your square gooseneck coupler. This will be compatible with the B&W Extend-A-Goose. It comes with an Inner and Outer tube so you will replace the Inner tube with the B&W Extend-A-Goose.

This will require welding. I recommend hiring a professional welder who has done this sort of work before.

Any other extenders that we have are fits for specific gooseneck hitches and do not provide 10 inches of extra clearance. The most is 5 inches and that is used with the Offset Ball # 19308 which fits Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, and Reese Hide-A-Goose gooseneck trailer hitches only.
