Is a Three-Bike Hitch-Mounted Rack Available for a 2015 Toyota Prius?

Question:

I am not finding a recommendation for a 3 bike hitch carrier for a 2015 Prius. Can a Prius safely carry 3 bicycles? Last year I bought a 2 bike carrier and hitch and now am looking for my daughter. Thank u for any information.

There is a way for your daughter to carry three bikes with a 2015 Toyota Prius, but not with a hitch-mounted rack. The reason for this is that hitches for a '15 Prius are Class I rated, limiting you to a rack which can only hold two bikes.

Should you want a three-bike rack for a 2015 Prius, there is the option using a trunk- mounted rack. I recommend taking a look at the SportRack Pursuit Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # SR3152.
