Can Curt Friction Sway Control 17200 be Mounted on Either Side of Trailer
Published 07/12/2017 >
Question:
I was going to buy two Curt Friction Sway Control Item # 17200 setups for my trailer, its a 37ft bumper pull camper. Is a left and right version? From the pictures it looks like it wont mount correctly if I put it on the right side of my tongue. Any info would be great

You can mount the # 17200 on either side of your trailer. You will need to loosen the handle and the other bolt below it, pull the inside arm out, flip it over, then reinsert it. You will then need to unscrew the handle on top and the nut. Completely remove them both and the mounting plate.
Then rotate the plate 180 degrees and put the handle where the nut was and the nut where the handle was. Then, when you flip the unit over to use on the other side of the trailer, everything will be oriented correctly.
