Question:
installation was a breeze. but now my battery has died on my 2015 Kia sedona. I measured the voltage after charging the battery and I have 1/2 volt at the brown, yellow and green wires, with the vehicle off. Does this sound correct to you guys. I would suspect there should be 0 volts at all pins when vehicle is off.

Installation of a trailer wiring harness like Curt # C56332 certainly should not have caused battery discharge in your 2015 Kia Sedona but we have seen this issue on occasion. The powered converter in this part does draw 12V power directly from the battery to power the trailer lights but in normal circumstances is should not be enough to discharge your battery. The low-level voltage reading you found at the 4-pole connector is normal but there could be an internal short that is draining your battery.
I suggest you replace this unit with a Hopkins harness # HM11143965 since we have found their wiring kits to be very reliable and usually trouble-free.
If you purchased the Curt harness within the last year you may want to also contact the seller or Curt for warranty consideration.
