Recommended Crossbars to Use on a 2015 Toyota RAV4 to Carry the Thule Hullavator Pro TH898

What cross bars would I need for the 2015 Rav4 to use the thule hullavator

For the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 to properly fit on your 2015 Toyota RAV4 your crossbars will simply need to extend 4-8 inches beyond the feet of the roof rack.

If your RAV4 has the raised side rails then the best option for you to go with would be the Thule WingBar system. This includes the WingBar Evo Crossbars, part # TH711400 for Silver or part # TH711420 for Black, and the Evo Feet # TH710401. This will give you enough clearance for the Hullavator. To lock the crossbars to your side rails and the Hullavator to your crossbars you will also need the 6 pack of Thule's One-Key System # TH450600.

If, instead, your RAV4 has the naked roof I recommend going with the Rhino-Rack Aero roof rack. This includes the Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2, the 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA, and the DK Fit Kit # DK449. This roof rack system comes with plastic locks (can be upgraded to metal with part # RRVA-LEC4) to secure to your roof so you will just need the 2 pack of Thule's One-Key System # TH450200 to lock the Hullavator to this roof rack.

Both of these roof racks have a weight capacity of 165 lbs.
