Yes, I do not see any issues with the compatibility between Roadmaster Rollaway hitch protector # RM-050 and dual hitch receiver # RM-077-4. Take a look at the video for the hitch protector I have linked. You can see how it attaches to a receiver showing how there wouldn't be interference between the 2 parts.

Michael, I just received the Roadmaster Rollaway hitch protector and a 4in rise 2in drop hitch and the instructions specifically state say not to install the Rollaway on a hitch extension. It must be installed on the vehicle receiver. While it may fit on the extension I suspect the restriction is in place to prevent torsion stress that would be applied to the vehicle hitch due to the leverage of an extended hitch mount position. This torsion stress would be much less when the Rollaway is installed close to vertical below the vehicle hitch bar. My application was on a Promaster 2023 chassis with a Thor Sequence house body. My drain valves would need a roller to drop down about 8 or 9 inches at the hitch to prevent damage to the valves. Another problem I encountered was the vehicle hitch has gussets welded vertically on the hitch square channel. These prevent the Rollaway from aligning to put the hitch pin in place.
