I reached out to a representative of the manufacturer of Tire Carrier # TR-1, Stromberg Carlson, and they said while the carrier did not have a specific weight limit, it was tested to 100,000 miles on 225/75R15 travel trailer tires that were 50 lbs. It is going to fit tires that are 15" to 16" and most 5-, 6- and 8-lug wheels on 4" square bumpers.
