Question:
The DMV needs the UNLADEN WEIGHT of our 1972 Cox boat trailer. We have lost the registration and plate. It was purchased for a 1972 Reinell RV 2050 boat. The maximum trailer weight is 5000 lbs GR ID SAE CLASS 111 Dutton Lainson Co, Hastings, Nebr. Model 985-8 2inch Ball According to NADA Guide the RV 2050 boat weight is 2400 lbs.

I have no way of knowing what your trailer weight is on your 1972 Cox Fisherman Series Boat Trailer. Based on what is an educated guess, I'd put it at around 900 lbs to be safe unloaded for your GVWR of 5K loaded. I've attached a photo to help.
