Question:
Is there an adapter that I can use to fit my 2 1/2 inch hitch into my 2 inch receiver?

Expert Reply:
A hitch and a receiver are the same thing. What I believe you are asking is if there is a reducer from a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver to a 2 inch hitch receiver to fit accessories and ball mounts. If that is the case, I recommend the Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2" # C45405. You may also want to use a hitch lock like # e98881.
If you are looking for an expander, there is not one we carry to expand a 2 inch hitch receiver to fit a 2-1/2 inch ball mount.
