Your 2014 Ram 1500 will have a connector under the driver's side dash that your brake controller will plug right into with an adapter. If you have the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, for example, you will simply need to use the Custom Wiring Adapter # 3023-P for the connection. I have attached a video of the P3 and the adapter being installed on a 2016 Ram 1500 that you can use as a reference.

If you do not have a Tekonsha brake controller and you are not sure what adapter you need, just let me know and I can see if we have the correct adapter for you.
