The Trailblazer Deer Alert # HM27512VA is a fairly easy install for any skilled mechanic. Most of it is basically routing and connecting wiring which can take time but isn't too complicated. However, depending on your vehicle it could take some temporary removal of existing parts to mount the device.
One thing that can make the install easier and take less time is to not use the switch and wire the alert to an ignition source. This will make the alert sound constantly when the vehicle is on though.
I do recommend checking with local auto shops about pricing. It's a fairly easy install for any qualified shop.
