Will the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061 Work with a Cushioned Shank

Question:

Presently using a j-style pin to secure the hitch to the truck which eliminates the cushioned affect but does quite it down. Would this allow the cushioning to work and still keep it quite?

The Roadmaster Quiet Hitch # RM-061 is made to be used with 2 inch trailer hitch receivers and is used to help eliminate any rattle and/or sway that happens in the hitch receiver on your 2008 Honda Ridgeline. The great thing about this device is that you will be able to use whatever hitch pin that you want to. Since it secures the shank on the outside it will work just fine with your cushioned shank.

Keep in mind that your hitch receiver must have a ring or collar around it for the Quiet Hitch to be installed (as demonstrated in the other attached photo).
