Does Exterior Pop-Up Roof Vent Need to be Installed Horizontally to Avoid Rain Getting In
Updated 06/22/2017 | Published 06/21/2017 >
Question:
Does the vent need to be installed horizontally to avoid rain coming in? In other words, if it is installed vertically and is left open will rain get in? I need to be able to leave it open for ventilation all summer long, but I am hoping to install it vertically long side up and down. Thanks.

It would be possible for water to get in vent # RV-626-062 if the opening is facing the direction the water is coming from. To avoid that you can mount the vent in such as way so that the opening faces downward.
