Question:

Im wondering if you have a vehicle side, 4-pole, water/dust proof, plug with at least a 12 inch pigtail that will mount to a smaller hitch? I have a vehicle specific 2012 Chevrolet impala adapter with plug kit now that I would like to cut the plug off and solder on new permanent mounted pig trail. My second choice would be the mounting clip and a dust cap but I prefer a cleaner, nice solid all-in-one piece.

Instead of cutting off your plug and splicing, I recommend using the Hopkins 4-Pole Loop - 12" Long # HM48145 along with some dielectric grease like the Loctite Bulb, Lamp, and Electrical Connection Dielectric Grease - 0.33-Oz Tube # LT37534 to keep water and debris out of your connections. For a mounting bracket, I recommend the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 along with the No-Drill Mount Bracket, Short # 18140. For your dust cover, I recommend the Trailer Wiring 4 Pole Flat (Vehicle End) Cover # C58200.
