Installing a front mount hitch like the Curt # C31054 on your 2016 Toyota 4Runner will require permanent removal of your TRD Pro Skid Plate if one is attached. With the hitch installed, you will not be able to fit this particular skid plate.
This hitch is confirmed to fit your 4Runner and will provide a 2 inch receiver opening and a vertical load limit of 350 pounds. I have attached the written installation details for you to check out.
