I have a 2009 Murano with factory roof rack. Is it possible for me to add crossbars so that I may carry 4 kayaks?

For your 2009 Nissan Murano with factory roof rack, you can add the Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails - Aero Crossbars - 50" Long # MPG215 to your system to give you aftermarket crossbars rated for up to 165 lbs.

To carry up to 4 kayaks, I recommend the Thule The Stacker - Rooftop Multi-Kayak Carrier # TH830. This comes with straps for 2 kayaks, but you will want additional tie-downs for 4 kayaks. I recommend the etrailer Kayak Tie-Down Kit Item # e36ZR and the Replacement Rope for Thule Roof Mounted Watersport Carriers - 1/4" Diameter # 853-5466.

You will want to make sure you stay within the weight capacities of your roof rack and any other capacity given by Nissan for your specific model.
