Differences Between The Fulton F2 And Bolt-Thru Trailer Jack

Updated 06/16/2017 | Published 06/15/2017

Question:

Good morning. I have a 2007 Mastercraft Single Axle trailer. I am in need of replacing the trailer jack. Can you recommend a direct replacement. The Fulton FXP15 seems to be a good fit, but would love your opinion. Other people with similar bolts are getting the Fulton FX2 with an adapter plate. I am not sure I want to go that route. Thanks

In order to recommend an exact fit replacement boat jack for your 2007 Mastercraft single axle trailer, I would need to know the dimension of the bracket you have welded onto your trailer.

In order for the Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack part # F1413140334 to fit on the trailer, you would need a bracket with dimensions of 4-1/2" from the horizontal bolt holes and 3-7/8" from the vertical bolt holes. If you do not have these dimensions and would still like to use this jack, you will need to cut off your existing bracket and weld the Weld-On Mounting Bracket and Hardware for Fulton Swing-Up Trailer Jacks with part # F500277 on.

In order for the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack part # FXP15 to fit, you will need to cut off your existing jack bracket and use the included bolt on brackets for a trailer frame 3" Wide X 5" Tall.

The main difference between the two jacks is that the Fulton F2 contains an adjustable mount that will allow you to slide the mounting brackets up and down the jack tube whereas the Bolt-Thru jack does not. In regards to the material used to create the jacks, the Bolt-Thru is made of steel whereas the F2 is made from aluminum.

I have attached a review video for each of these jacks below.
