Question:
I have a E2 hitch 92-00-0800 with 800 pound rated arms. Can I change the arms to 1200 pound capacity to tow a trailer weighing approx 10,000 pounds? Do I need to change the hitch head and shank?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can upgrade the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System, # FA92-00-0800, to a 1,200 lbs tongue weight.
Using the replacement spring bars, # FA92-01-1099, will upgrade you WD system to a 1,000 lbs TW or use # FA92-01-1299 to upgrade to 1,200 lbs TW.
