Question:

Hello there, for a 2016 Ford Edge Titanium is the Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Car Mount - 2inch Ball - 6,000 lbs Item # RM-501 Ready to go in terms of the tow bar aspect and mounting to the vehicle? I know i will need the wire harness for lights but i see kits that have separate bars and mounting brackets. Thanks

To flat tow a vehicle behind a motorhome you need several components including a tow bar, base plates that bolt on the towed car, safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit of some type, a high/low hitch adapter to keep the tow bar level, a wiring umbilical and a braking system for the towed car. Each of these components is covered in detail in the linked articles on flat towing.

The base plate that bolts on to the front of the towed car, such as Roadmaster part # RM-524454-4 that fits the Titanium without Active Cruise Control, will work with all Roadmaster tow bars, including the Stowmaster # RM-501.
