Question:
I got this trailer from a customer, and one side was siezed. After getting the siezed bearing off, I took the other side off and those bearings were all rusted and corroded. I took a picture of the only part number I could find which was a L44643R. I need to replace both inner and outer bearings on both sides, while having no clue how this actually happens. What is the R on the part number and do I need L44643 replacement bearings.

The R at the end of the part # L44643 is identification that some manufacturers will use. It could mean a number of things such as what plant it was made or something a long those lines. For your purposes # L44643 is the correct replacement.
Are both the inner and outer bearings the same size? If they are you'll need # DL21792 for the complete bearing kit.
If they're not the same you'll need to measure the spindle using a digital caliper to find the correct parts you need. I've attached a diagram that shows where on the spindles to measure.
