Can Prodigy RF Brake Controller Fit 2016 Volvo XC90 with 7-Way

Question:
I have a 2016 Volvo XC90 with factory installed trailer hitch and 7 prong connector trailer lights all work. After adding a fuse that Volvo didnt install, I have 12v power. Volvo dealer and RV shop say there is no plug for trailer brakes. 1. Does this mean I cant use Prodigy p3? Your website says that 2016 XC90 is not confirmedinch to work with the Prodigy Wireless, but your expert comments say it can. 2. What is the issue with the wireless controller and XC90? Is it just the pairing question or is there something else. 3. Assuming it will work, can I install the controller box inside an aluminum cargo box on the tongue. It would be between the propane tank and the battery. Would this location interfere with the signal. Thanks for your help.

Expert Reply:
If your trailer wiring 7-way has all of the taillight functions working and has the 12 volt power circuit complete like it sounds like you already did then the Prodigy RF part # TK94FR would easily fit. It basically can fit any vehicle that fits that criteria and would work well for you.
