We have numerous tire chain options for your 2008 Ford Escape with 235/70-16 tires. I have included a link to all of the tire chains that will fit your tire size for you to review. A Class S tire chain will need to have 37mm or less clearance above the chain and 15mm or less clearance out from the sidewall.
The Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, # PW2029C, that you have referenced will fit and are considered Class S chains as they require 15mm or more clearance. I also recommend adding rubber adjusters, # PW100. These adjusters will make fitting and tensioning the chains quick and easy. I have included a link to a video showing how they work. I have also included a link to our tire chain FAQ article.
