Question:

How do these Rhino Rack legs deal with the calking that Chevy puts in the rain gutters on theses vans? Some other rack companies WeatherGuard, VanTrac account for it with spacers but there is no mention of it for the Rhino Racks. Also the gutter line in curved a bit and those companies account for that to with shims. What is Rhino Racks solution? Thanks

I reached out to my contact that does the fit over at Rhino Rack and he said that the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Legs - Gutter Mount - 5-9/10" Tall - Qty 6 # RRRL150GMC-3 you mentioned for your 2013 Chevy Express Van do not need any additional shims or components to fit your vehicle gutters. He said they are aware of the caulk and that other companies may require different fits due to the caulk, but it is not an issue for the way these legs clamp onto the gutters.

These legs have custom-fit brackets and hardware and include built-in security hardware that deters theft by requiring a special tool that is included to loosen the clamps.
