How Does Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Install in a 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body

Question:

I just received the Tekonsha P3 . I saw something about needing an OEM connecting harness. The box has a single plug harness, maybe just generic. Would I need to splice some wires?

To install the Prodigy P3 brake controller part # 90195 in your 2007 Chevy Silverado New Body requires splicing into the brake controller wiring you have under the dash as there isn't a port under the dash.
