Have a 2021 Hyundai palisade that i installed a after market hitch and 4way flat harness on. Im now going to tow a 3k lbs trailer and want to add a controller and proper harness. What do I need or what do you recommend? Thanks

Hey Robert! You already had the right idea looking at the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This will upgrade the 4-way you installed and make it a 7-way. It comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else required for installation.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. The Liberty is simple, reliable, and takes up no space in the cab of your vehicle. The main unit installs behind the dash so only the control knob is visible. This gives it a nice clean look. The knob acts adjusts the braking power and acts as the manual override. I went ahead and attached a picture below so you can see what it will look like in your Palisade.
