Yes, the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 can be installed at a vertical angle between 0 and 90 degrees. You will want to make sure that it is leveled horizontally though. Once set at the desired angle, the IQ will level itself out so the internal sensor will function properly.
I have attached a review video of the Primus IQ for you to check out as well as 2 pictures demonstrating the correct way to mount it.
If you are in need of a mounting bracket you can use the Replacement Mounting Kit Bracket # 5280 if you plan on leaving the IQ in your vehicle for awhile or the Tekonsha Primus Mounting Dash Clip # 6927 if you will be moving it frequently.
