Installing Lippert Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit on Forest River Toy Hauler with Axle Above Leaf Springs

Question:

Hi I purchased the lc281255 shock kit for my 2014 forest river shockwave toy hauler and Im not sure which direction the shock should be pointing since the bracket is now under the leaf springs. The instructions state to install them away from the shackle on a axle that is under the springs. Thanks.

The Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Mount Kit # LC281255 referenced in your question can be installed on trailers with axles above or below the leaf springs.

You will still want to angle the shocks away and up from the shackle strap or equalizer of the axle for best performance. For your toy hauler, you will simply want to make sure they are angled so they do not interfere with the axle when the suspension compresses.
