Question:
On my current ventilator, the crank arm is attached to the cover with what looks to be a rivet. If just replacing the cover, does this rivet have to be drilled out if I want to attach the new cover to the existing crank arm? A bolt/nut is then needed to attach the new cover to the arm? See attached pix.

For your application, the part that is broken is actually part of the crank arm assembly. You will want the Replacement Operator, Knob and Screw for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents w/ Wedge-Shaped Dome # BVD0462-00 as that part is not a replacement option. This is to be used with the Replacement Dome Assembly for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - White - Wedge Shape - Plastic # BVD0449-A01 if you choose to replace the cover as well.
