Installed LED Light But Other Lights Dim When LED is Turn On
Updated 05/22/2017 | Published 05/20/2017 >
Question:
I am replacing bulb type incandescent lights with ILL22cb. However, as I turn on subsequent lights, the other lights become dimmer. Any suggestions? Also, I anticipate placing led strip lights under each cabinet over the countertop to increase the lighting when working at night. Any suggestions on which light to install? This is a 3 horse featherlite gooseneck that is being converted into a mobile equine dental clinic. Thanks.

Sounds like it might be a wiring issue. Check to make sure your ground connection on the # ILL22CB is connected to a clean and bare metal. Also check to see if the power wire is connected securely and the wire is not touching any metal section of the trailer.
LED lights draw less power to operate over the traditional incandescent bulbs. If the lights are dimming when this light is turned on, then somewhere there must be a wiring short that is causing the power drain.
As for a LED light strip,I recommend the LED Utility Strip, # ULL25CTVRB. This LED strip can be measures 6-13/16 inches long. The light has an output of 380 lumens and will draw 0.3 amps on 12.8 volts of power.
