Recommended Suspension Enhancements For A 2015 Ford Transit T150 Van

Updated 05/18/2017 | Published 05/17/2017

Question:

Hello...I really expected the ride to be smoother. I dont think I realize it was on a truck chassis. That being say, I put airlift shocks on them...it took me awhile to figure out almost no air is the smoothest ride. The other day I rented a van...and noticed its even smoother. **The question is Im wondering if the shocks are still there or did they have to be removed, for the installment. *Also, is there anything else I can do for comfort...perhaps there are better shocks than the original. Thank you...Im getting them off tomorrow , I hope you can responded soon. Appreciate it! Excited for you pro view.

The Air-Lift springs installed on your 2015 Ford Transit Van do not replace the factory shock absorber's. On some vehicle's, they are removed to provide additional clearance of the airbags, however this is not the case for the Ford Transit.

I do have a few options for your consideration in regards to increased ride quality while transporting a load however, we currently do not offer any viable components to soften the ride of an unloaded suspension for your vehicle.

While towing or hauling any weight, you may want to consider the RoadActive Suspension Kit part # RAS3623-GT. The RoadActive kit is designed to upgrade your vehicle's factory suspension by allowing for increased stability, handling, control and ride quality. This rear suspension enhancement will help dissipate the force exerted on the vehicle's rear leaf springs in addition to providing you with a maintenance free method of doing so.

I have attached a video review of the RoadActive kit for your viewing.
